Welcome to BragBin

BragBin helps you preserve your family memories by digitizing physical photos. Whether you choose our mail-in service or scan photos yourself, we make it easy to create digital copies you can share, back up, and enjoy for years to come.

New to photo digitization? This guide walks you through everything you need to know to get started.

Create Your Account

Sign up for a free BragBin account to get started.

Sign Up Process

  1. Click "Sign Up" on the homepage or go to /signup
  2. Enter your name, email address, and create a password
  3. Check your email for verification link
  4. Click verification link to activate your account
  5. Log in to your dashboard

Tip: Use a password manager to create a strong, unique password. Keep your account secure!

Choose Your Service

BragBin offers two ways to digitize your photos.

Mail-In Service

Send us your physical photos. We'll digitize them professionally and return them (or securely destroy them if you prefer).

Prepare Your Photos

Get your photos ready for digitization.

For Mail-In Service

  • Count your photos: Up to 50 photos per batch (loose prints, 3x5–5x7 size)
  • Clean photos: Remove dust and fingerprints with a soft cloth
  • Organize: Sort by date, event, or person (optional but helpful)
  • Pack safely: Use bubble wrap or padding to protect photos during shipping

For Self-Scanning

  • Set up scanner: See our DIY scanning guide for setup help
  • Scan settings: Use 300 DPI minimum, color mode, JPEG format
  • Name files: Use descriptive names (e.g., "2024-01-15-Family-Reunion-001.jpg")
  • Check quality: Review scans before uploading

Create Order or Upload Photos

Submit your photos for digitization.

Mail-In Service

  1. Go to Dashboard → Mail-In Orders
  2. Click "Create New Order"
  3. Enter order details (photo count, scan & return vs scan & destroy)
  4. Print shipping label (or use your own packaging)
  5. Pack photos securely
  6. Ship to BragBin address
  7. Track order status in dashboard

Self-Scan Upload

  1. Go to Dashboard → Upload
  2. Click "Choose Files" or drag and drop photos
  3. Select up to 50 files (10MB each, 500MB total)
  4. Review selected files (check names, preview images)
  5. Click "Upload" and wait for completion
  6. Track job status in Dashboard → Jobs

Track Your Progress

Monitor your orders and jobs in your dashboard.

Job Status

Pending: Order received, waiting to be processed
Processing: Photos are being digitized
Completed: Ready for download
Failed: Error occurred (check email for details)

Email Notifications

You'll receive email updates at each step:

  • • Order confirmation
  • • Processing started
  • • Processing complete
  • • Download ready
  • • Return shipped (mail-in service)

Download & Enjoy Your Photos

Access your digitized photos and share them with family.

Download Process

  1. Go to Dashboard → Jobs
  2. Find completed job
  3. Click "Download" button
  4. Photos download as ZIP file
  5. Extract and enjoy!

Tip: Download links expire after 7 days. Download promptly or request a new link if needed.

  • High-quality JPEGs: 300+ DPI resolution, color-corrected
  • Organized folders: Photos organized by date or batch
  • Metadata preserved: File names, dates, and organization maintained
  • Backup ready: Digital copies you can back up to cloud storage, external drives, or share with family
